01 - Hack Off

The first song that I remember doing was called Hack Off. I remember experimenting with all the generating sounds that Audacity provided. I came up with something simple and me whispering in pain in the background reversed. It was and okay song and I remember a bunch of people patting me in the back for what I had created. It was simple, short and right to the point. It was the type of music I would later compose, of course the songs I come up with now are a little more mature, I only say a little because in some way they still sound like that first song.

Numbering

I feel like I should number the songs I put up, so I will. The posts that have numbers will be songs and the posts without them will be notes or stories, just like this.

Introduction

I suppose it was inevitable. Making a blog about my “band” is a recommendation and I thought about making one anyway. I feel that when I advertise or spread the word on Manic Dead Head I feel like I’m spreading a belief on a cult but it’s just music. But if any one does feel like reading about some cult beliefs you should check this one out that I also came up with, Iegod.
Anyway, I didn’t really know what to make the “band’s” page about so I decided to write on where I got the idea for the songs kind of like a timeline on all the songs I made starting with the first ones.
The first album I did wasn’t the first songs I made it was just the firsts songs that I managed to round up together. I had made a whole bunch of songs or just short sounds here and there and I really wanted all of them to go into an album, so I ended up with 20 songs. You can find the first album online somewhere I’m sure, it’s called The Muteman Scream. Take in to consideration that I was young and just wanted to make it out there.
Alright here we go with the songs, some you can find, others I still have and some were stolen and I’ll come to that later.
